Things to do.

Apart from the obvious activities of photography, walking, mountaineering, wildlife watching etc., there are lots of other opportunities organised by local operators to enjoy.
Below are just a few ideas for you, click on red text for more info.

Of course, you could take one of our own 4X4 photo tuition tours
to brush up your camera skills or to get to locations not normally seen on Skye. Click here for more information.

MV Stardust boat trips. An unmissable boat trip from Portree Harbour into the Sound of Raasay to witness the abundant wildlife and stunning scenery. Sea Eagles, porpoise, dolphin, whales and many different sea birds are all possible.

Dunvegan Castle. Historic seat of the MacLeod Clan Chiefs. Well worth a visit, even on a wet day.

Aros, Portree. Just outside Portree on the Sligachan road, the Aros is great place to chill out (or warm up) with a restaurant, gift shop, cinema, theatre and more, all under one roof.
